Portfolio

This website is a rolling portfolio of my work, presented in a carousel that you can navigate with the menu in the bottome left or the arrows on the left and right of the screen (and your keyboard). Each project, whether in-progress or completed, is accompanied by a short summary and links to further information.

About Me

I'm a researcher working at the crossroads of economics, technology, and society with an extensive, award-winning quantitative, qualitative, and computational skillset.

Over the past several years, I've dived deep into how individuals, organisations, and societies respond to innovation, disruption, and policy. Currently, I'm a researcher at the Open Data Institute (ODI), where I've worked on understanding trust and transparency in emerging technologies like AI and privacy-enhancing tools. With a BSc in Economics from University College London (2023), my academic background gives me a solid grounding in theory, but I've always preferred working in the real world. That's visible in my work for the ODI, the MLCommons Croissant Working Group, the Centre for digital Public Health in Emergencies and the Department of Economics at UCL, and a number of other projects you can browse on this website.

My technical skillset covers a wide array, from econometrics, statistical modelling, and financial analysis to data science, machine learning, and AI. Python is my primary tool (including AI frameworks like TensorFlow and PyTorch), but I also frequently use Stata, R, and web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript). This flexibility lets me tackle diverse projects, turning complex data into clear, actionable insights and -- importantly -- serves as a basis for me to analyse tech trends, innovations, uptake, and business viability.

I think the most important steps in my research projects is their communication, which is a skill that I've cultivated over the years. I've won a national award for journalism and best-paper winning academic work, always striving to clearly and effectively convey complex ideas. Whether I'm explaining the intricacies of privacy technologies at the ODI or exploring behavioural trust dynamics in healthcare settings, I've been able to produce analyses and insights that bring the right points to the right people.

I'm always eager to hear about new opportunities, research, and events. Feel free to get in touch!
